Yes, but only because it wasn't signed by a woman.

I can't see how would be, unless somebody is offended at the church sending them anything at all. It seems pretty nice to me.

Agreed. I guess if one really wanted to find offense, they could pick at a few things and find them, but mostly it was pretty vanilla and nice.

I found this to be an interesting read. It is not that often I hear a prominent LDS woman in the heiarchy of the church speak so frankly. The example and culture starts at the top.

When Chieko Okazaki, 1st Counselor of the General Relief Society Presidency was presented with the finished Proclamation to the Family in 1995, her response was as follows: "Sometimes I think they get so busy that they forget that we are there." In this post, Lori Burkman cites and discusses a remarkably candid interview with former 1st president of the General Relief Society Presidency Chieko N. Okazaki. If even a member of the General Relief Society Presidency has felt left out of the important discussions and meetings, what does that mean for women in the church as a whole?

                      That was insightful.

After some contemplation, I believe we may some day see the women be ordained as priests. It may be decades in the future, but the dearth of men serving may necessitate the revelation.

I haven't seen anybody get offended at it so far, and it's easy to see why. I think it's innocuous at worst, and is a decent gesture.

I don't think there is anything offensive or wrong with the pamphlet. I just don't think the church seems to grasp or understand why people or leaving. This is all fluffy and feel goody, but without addressing the meat of the issues I don't think this is going to sway people that are walking away.

The Savior's parable of the five virgins being left behind and shut out of the wedding really angers me.
