For their landmark book, “American Grace: How Religion Divides and Unites Us,” David Campbell and Robert Putnam conducted two extensive surveys on religion and public life in America. They found that an overwhelming majority of LDS women — 90 percent — are opposed to priesthood ordination for women. By comparison, 52 percent of LDS men oppose priesthood ordination for women.

It seems someone told 90% of the LDS women what these priesthood meetings and responsibilities were all about. Fess up... who was it?

I asked MMM if she planned on watching Priesthood session on TV on Saturday night. She said that she usually gets together with her mom and sisters during Priesthood so she probably wasnt going to watch it.

You missed the fact that nearly half the vote that counts wants them to have the priesthood. Those 90% may not really have a say in the matter.

Those kinds of poll numbers mean a lot less to me after reading books about the FLDS. They treat their women far worse than we do and the women seem to be the most passionate about defending their secondary status. It is an interesting phenomenon.
