I believe Mormonism will survive this issue just fine, but not in the US.

It will become a church of non-Americans & non-Europeans, much like Catholicism is much stronger today in South America & Africa than in its traditional European setting.

50 years from now, BYU men's soccer is going to tear up the WCC.

Well BYU would have to join the WCC to so that. I believe it will survive but it will not thrive in the US. it is too counter cultural and slow to respond to new cultural developments.

I have no doubt that it will survive, but it will become different. The Book of Mormon will eventually be de-emphasized. So will Joseph Smith and the First Vision. We'll always have prophets and apostles, but we'll use the word revelation less and the word inspiration more.
