    33. I've been in HPG for 20 years, and am still the 2nd youngest out of 16 regular members. HP's don't get all that involved in moving people.

Just when you mention moving and Hillary about it don't read the part were High Priests can do the duties of an Elder. Were in D and C does it say Elders have to help move? Though they are in charge of the temporal affairs of there members. What did Seventies do? I remember my Dad being called as one than a few months later ETB discontinued them. I think it was stake missionary office. Many people were also ordained Seventies when they were called as missionaries. Now it is churchwide or area calling only not a local one. They were always raided anyway when a bishopric member or High Councilor was needed.

Neither do I and I'm not even a HP.

age 48, I'll give CA a run for his money about thin resumes - I'd been 2nd c in the EQ for 2 yrs and 1st c in the Young mens for 4 yrs and had just been called as ward clerk. Though is isn't a requirement for being a clerk, the previous 2 clerks were made HPs when they were called.

I may be small, but I'm slow.

A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to, "The United States of America ", for an amount of "up to and including my life - it's an honor."

I have avoided getting called up thus far. They called my brother up a year ago because they needed a HP group leader.

36 when called to be a High Priest's Group Assistant. Nine years and two bishopric counselor stints later, I want to go back to Deacon's Quorum.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

The thought of going to EQ makes me go home early.

Interesting on not going to HP High Council goes there I am sure but I knew a guy that was called in bishopric then released and called in YM Presidency so did not go for 10 years to High Priests after being one. Once to vote on something. Since Bishops counselors go to Aaronic Priesthood Quorums usually you may be HP without going for some time.

I recently had a HP lecture me during a combined lesson I was giving on the nature of God. I guess I said something to piss him off. I won't be called up for a while, but it did cause quite a controversy because he later apologized to the EQP.
