    The curse of high expectations.

If somebody just said "We're going to a Chinese restaurant in Bountiful" then your appropriately low expectations would have been exceeded.

Dallin came to a reception at a cousins house just before I got off my mission so I missed it. He talked to my family. Grandpa's brother Mission President and he tried to get DAllin and June to go ahead of everyone in line they wouldn't do it. June was still alive then. Dallin's first wife. Worked for guy who was pilot before horse kicking accident may fly again. He said Neal Maxwell signed some hymn books or something talked to him. I told about the profanity and poker playing when he flinched but Neal did not say a word kept on visiting. Guy worked for rancher turned GA and said he used to swear like a sailor. Read were S. Dilworth Young did same thing in his bio too.

I know someone that does a lot of work in cob were you rub shoulders with GA's. Shane Bowen wanted him to put entertainment center in his house probably jokingly when he went to do some computer work. For people that work there I heard of some that would go up and down in elevator in awe, were in presence of General Authorites, but most that seem them every day think nothing of it rub shoulders every day and they are no different than average Joe just have sacred calling.

I was in the MTC when all of the mission presidents were there being trained. It was close enough to conference that we had all been given the May Ensign with the center section that had all of the GA's photos and names.

There was a group of Elders on my floor that would introduce themselves and shakes hands with anyone over the age of 30 that they saw in the hallways of the MTC and then later whip out their Ensign to see who they'd met. It was kind of funny to watch them check mark all of the photos.
