The "Sin or no sin?" Thread

Let's suppose your wife forgets to pick up the chuck roast on Saturday (even though you put it right there on the top of the shopping list!) so you are forced to a make an ox-in-the-mire dash to the grocery store. While there you notice that Pepsi products are on sale for $3.99 so you throw a couple of cases in the cart.

    Sin or no sin?

Buying Pepsi instead of Coke? That's more a transgression than a sin.

Telling a female investigator on her first visit to an LDS sacrament service that women shouldn't wear business style pants to church. Sin or no sin?

Is telling the investigator that women shouldn't wear business style pants to church a sin, or is wearing business style pants to church a sin?

She's wearing them. Is telling her she shouldn't wear them a sin?

If it's caffeine free, no sin.

Blaming your wife is the biggest sin. Sack up and accept responsibility. Also, $3.99 for a 24-pack or 12-pack? Incredible price for the former, not great for the latter.

Currently I'm at the Pepsi phase of the pride cycle. For me as I work the cycle it's Diet Dr. Pepper, Dr. Pepper 10, Kroger Brand Diet Cola, Diet Pepsi, and Diet Coke. 2 liter bottles of Pepsi products were 10 for $10 last time at the store, so I loaded up. I admire the Pepsi choice. Informed, yet free from the peer pressure of Coke fanatics.

Regarding your Sin debate. Don't worry, in another dimension you chose not to get the Pepsi. In yet another dimension, you elected not to go to the store at all. When all the dimensions collapse at your death, you will be able to have lived out the consequences of your choices, and will have learned from the experience of what was the best decision. The Glory of God is Intelligence. Worlds without End. Or, quite possibly, One World, Dimensions without End.
