  • "I know this candidate is true!"

We're traveling today and will miss F&T meeting, although I suspect our ward will be politics free. But I also suspect a great many others' won't be. Thus, to make up for my skipping church, please post any political wisdom that may be shared in your wards during open mic hour today.

Nothing. Not a thing. Not even in PH meeting. I taught, so I have no one to blame but myself.
    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I can only imagine how bad next Sunday is going to be at church if Romney loses. Either way, it'll be a spectacle worth documenting. I might live blog.

About half into the meeting Rmoney mentioned once so far. We had the missionaries over for dinner earlier this week and one of them from LV mentioned he was in the temple with Harry Reid. He said it made him so mad that the Senator was there that he said he wanted to punch him. I said, "I assume that you didnt join Harry in the prayer circle."

As I stated earlier, today is the Romney secret weapon. Fast Sunday two days before the election? It's as if God saw this scenario thousands of years ago and made fast Sunday as the first Sunday just to power Romney to victory. And President Obama and Axelrod never even saw it coming. Well played, God. Well played.

We had a coded reference to Mitt by a lady who has been an active volunteer over the past year. She talked about a recent missionary moment she had while working on a 'project' for an lds man.

Not one mention in sacrament. We'll see how Sunday school and priesthood go.

I may just skip church. I'm already sick of this in church.

Our stake has vote coordinators that help you register and vote. They started in the foyer and have called no less than 5 times including yesterday.

Church has been unbearable the past 3 months. Even my conservative friends have thought its been over the top.

My thought in PEC was about the election. The message was get out and vote for your guy, but if your guy doesn't win it's not the end of the world. I also challenged everyone to be the grownups that recognize that just because you disagree with someone politically, it doesn't mean they are dumb or evil. Does this count?

Wa has measures on the ballot to legalize gay marriage and marijuana. We were asked to vote in a manner that upholds the values we have as a church.

I already told my wife that I'm out of here at the first Romneymony. So far I'm still sitting here. Not surprising given my ward - they are pretty low key. But let's see what happens in SS. Glad I'm not teaching this week.

No explicit mention so far, but in the closing prayer at Sac Meeting, the prayer said "Help us choose a righteous leader this week." I think we all knew what he meant.
