So does this open the door for iced tea? Given the health benefits of green tea, and the fact that the beverage is not, by definition, anything close to hot, I wonder. I'd like to enjoy a mid-round Arnold Palmer on a hot day.

Yeah, I realized, too late, that it was old. Someone linked to it on facebook.

If iced tea's back on the menu I'd give up Coca-Cola.

That reminds me of a few weeks ago when somebody made a link on FB to the old Elizabeth Smart talk about modesty culture and within a few days everyone was re-posting it as if it was recent news. I guess nobody checked the date.

          • Is caffeine still not available at BYU? Last time I was at the Lion House Coke Zero was on tap.

            • I just found out Starbucks does $.55 same day refills on iced coffees. Don't know how I missed that, but it was a very welcome discovery.

                Apparently there is no demand!

You wouldn't know that from all the soda vendors on the edge of campus and all the mini-fridges in faculty offices.

I'd also suggest Snapple's diet half/half. Very similar to Arnold Palmer and made with the "best ingredients on Earth". When my green-tea-drinking spouse mentioned that half of my beverage was "tea", I pointed at my half-full bottle and stated that I only drank the half that was lemonade.

Fully leaded Coke and Diet Coke are also available on tap and in a bottle. They're also available at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.
