I once asked Ellis Miller my Astronomy teacher at Ricks if the Black Hole was were Outer Darkness was. He did not know never been there. Brings me to another point how many Mortals got to that point. Is there any Daughters of Perdition, Sonja Johnson.

As a missionary I heard someone said Ed Decker got a letter from the First Presidency saying he was a son of Perdition. I don't think he knew that much though before falling away. Never held that high of positions either when he went to church. Heard a son of his was bishop in Jacksonville Florida too.

William Law. Speculation is fruitless. We know Cain is a son of Perdition and will rule over Lucifer. How did he get a body in Mortality? Judas. JET things he was. However SWK said did not know enough in MOF. Thing is people that crucified the savior I thought they were so he would qualify.

Don't know if Judas was one or not or a good share or very few people will be Sons of Perdition. Gospel Doctrine.com says Judas is a Son of Perdition.

May I say a word or two on behalf of William Law? Let's see, JS made a pass at his wife, at least. You have to wonder what else happened; the evidence is strong there was more. So, Law got angry and printed pamphlets about it and also condemned all the other adultery and group sex in Nauvoo, etc. Then JS burned his printing press, which today would have landed him in prison until he was quite old. Finally, Law's contemporaneous diary proves he was not at Carthage.

Therefore, he's a son of perdition?

lol!!! I can't get over this thread. grape is our Ralph Kane but better. He'd steal the show in a sitcom about old time Mormonism. He's a walking encyclpaedea of the real stuff I grew up with. This thread should revive the old debate about what is the real grapevine.

We had an old-timer in a combined priesthood meeting several years ago who made basically this same argument. He finished with, "in a way, then, we should be grateful to Satan." The room was silent for about ten seconds, which is uncomfortably long in that setting.

You should read it pronto. She is batshit crazy. I went to one of her lectures, and she advocated forced estrogen shots for every male in the US. So that the feminization of men could commence, to ensure true equalization of the sexes.

She wanted to be a communalist, but changed her mind. She wanted to be a lesbian, but rejected it as "patriarchal." She was for the Equal Rights Amendment, but then rejected it. She has ultimately rejected everything she once believed in and supported, including the US Government, States in general, and Roe v. Wade.

I hear that she is personally very likeable, and is often described as "merry." WikiP says that she runs "Casa Feminista, a hotel catering to feminist women." If anyone lives in or travels through New Mexico, and has stayed at Casa Feminista, please describe your experience. I'm curious about it.

I used to live in the ward that she was in (not while she was there, obviously). We had one old timer welcome us to the ward..."this is the ward that Sonia Johnson was in..." and then he regaled us with a few stories about that time it was pretty interesting.
