I'll be especially interested to hear the number of baptisms read, as the correlation between BYU football's success and the missionary program's success in their own respective fields is undisputed. I expect a slight uptick; 10 wins, yes, but significant turmoil, too.

The great thing about conference is that my wife tries to make us watch is, but even she flames out after about an hour. I'm looking forward to the naps.

I predict a very uneventful conference. I wonder if the speakers have been admonished to tone it down significantly and stick to basic touchy/feely themes given the current political climate.

I also predict some moderate discussion of the CCC, touchy briefly on how wonderful of an edifice it is juxtaposed next to the temple.

I'm sure the Carol Mikita hour between sessions will have plenty on the CCC.

I like to record it 15 minutes behind so I can skip the hymns.

Skipping hte general auxiliary and any speakers not int he 1Q70 or above is also a good way to go. I'm also usually tending the smoker, getting lunch ready inbetween sessions.
