I guess I kind of straddle the two worlds of Cougarboard and CUF. Which leads me to wonder which one my nuts are hanging over.
If we disagree on something, it's because you're wrong.

Which one? The one previously hanging on the CB side was lopped off. Uniballer.

I can identify with this. Although I rarely post there anymore, I read CB every day. But the CB that I enjoyed the most has probably undergone two or three iterations since then. To some degree CB nowadays makes me feel like the guy hanging around high school when i graduated three years ago.

The mods also ensure that certain topics are either off-limits or whitewashed.

Given the above, it makes sense to me that those who desire more than superficial discussion would prefer CUF.
This is changing somewhat. There is a new feature that notifies you when new replies have been posted and gives you a link to the thread. I've carried on a few conversations a lot longer than ever happened in the old days where once it was off the front page it was gone forever and nobody cared. That said, the culture is definitely one more adapted to twitter style discussions.

I don't think so. In a lot of ways I think CUF and CB probably represent extremes in LDS thinking. And most members are probably somewhere in between. At least I hope so.

It's probably more accurate to say that CB represents El Jefe's orthodox thinking. Other orthodox posters feel empowered by that and tend to speak loudly. There are a lot of middle of the road people and a smaller number of apostates on CB, but for the most part they've learned to keep quiet or they'll get shouted down or moderated away.

Cb has a lot of weirdos, but don't act like everyone there is as weird as some posts or posters are. There are good discussions sometimes. A lot of the better stuff is in friends only posts anyways.

No, it's still there - you must not have donor status. Or you have the religion category blocked.
