    Neil L. Anderson bio

    Born August 9, 1951 in Logan, UT
    Raised in Pocatello, ID
    Served in France mission 1970-72
    Married in 1975, four kids.
    Graduated from BYU, then earned an MBA from Harvard
    President of the France Bordeaux Mission 1989-92
    GA since 1993
    General Sunday School Presidency 1997-2001
    Member of the Presidency of the Seventy since 2005

          Please spell the new apostle's name correctly. He is of Danish ancestry, and therefore it is spelled AndersEn.

              Eyring isn't the only Harvard man anymore. We now have a Utah --> Harvard and a BYU --> Harvard. I hope they get along.

                  Of course, the Utah man (Pres. Eyring) also got his DBA from Harvard. We're always a step ahead.

                              Apparently he was not amused by Elder Danimal's antics when visiting the France Paris mission more than a decade ago.
                              What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

                                      Nothing really. He called him up to bear his testimony. Danimal mostly just went up there and cracked a few jokes. He didn't rebuke danimal or anything for it, but his displeasure was obvious in his face.

                                                      Both are from Harvard's business school, nonetheless. Is this evidence that the Haavaad is the way to become a GA? Mitt Romney has an MBA/JD from there. I smell a GA position for him if 2012 doesn't work out.

                                                          I know three people who worked for him: one as a "high up" in the SLOC '02, one in the MA capitol, and one as an intern with his presidential campaign. All three say he is two-faced and very dishonest, and none would have voted for him even if they were being waterboarded. Fwiw. He may have been a great stake president but it apparently didn't carry over into his political endeavors.
