Has anyone been following this week's recent events down at the FLDS towns?
Apparently, they are in turmoil, folks jumping ship, hardliners retrenching and circling the wagons.
As part of the new shift in focus, Jeffs has issued some revelations that require the abandonment of all bicycles, trampolines, musical instruments, recreational vehicles, and other daily items.
There is a store near one of the compounds that is selling all the stuff. On KSL, they showed camera shots of what looked like hundreds of bikes, loads of pianos, guitars, toys, and some trampolines. However, what caught my eye were the 4 wheelers. Apparently, the FLDS were Yearning for some off-roading trails in Zion because they have amassed a nice little collection of 4 wheelers that are now for sale. I wonder how to find out how much they are going for at that store?
Would it be weird to own an FLDS 4-wheeler? According to the news story, Jeffs has ordered a cessation of all communication with the outside world (except for "business purposes"). Allegedly, the internet has been banned in that area (not sure how you ban the "internet," though) but they ARE selling their stuff.
Jeffs would be wise to order someone to create a website with some sort of shopping cart functionality and shipping.
