Provo Temple II: A Fire is Burning

So what do they call the new temple? Provo River? Utah Lake? South Provo? (Squaw Peak? )

I presume this will be a full service temple and that underground and above-ground structures will have to be built. Hopefully, the alterations won't be too drastic.

it won't be the same. I'm happy that they're restoring the exterior of the building to its original state, but very sad that the building won't be open to the public and that its interior will be completely different. I imagine that they'll use the lot to the south as an entrance area with a tunnel that connects to the main building.

I do hope they at least make it like an old school temple where you go from room to room instead of having multiple rooms feed onto the celestial room.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

Too small. If you're lucky, you'll get an A room an a B room, though.

This is one of the more clever thread titles here.

which is why it's a crappy idea in the first place.

I'm more relieved than anything. I was afraid the masses would win the day and it would become a multi-level Cafe Rio.

It could be both. (Cafeteria that only serves CRio. Heavenly.)

The Temple at Provo City Center. I'm guessing the Moses Cloud Temple will become a mostly MTC-serving facility.

This is an interesting choice for a temple. Could it be that they are going to close the current Provo Temple for Ogden style renovations? If so a backup plan was needed.

After the Payson temple was announced we were told it would be renovated after Payson was completed.
