I think this is very positive and personally I believe assistant ward financial clerk is the most important job in the church.

Is this a joke? Usually people don't put sarcastic comments or jokes in "edits" so I figure you really meant this. I see no where in his statement that he is unrepentant or that he intends to have homo sex again.

I think most people equate being in the "Bishopric" as being either the bishop or one of the counselors. I think he is clearly refering to one of the counselors. Like others have said I hope that there is no push back from some higher ups.
