So am I the only one that is curious to know what you did last night? Did you go to the temple as assigned, did you pass it on to another, did you tell the EQP to punch sand?

Well, if one can't get away with white bolo ties in Texas then the "Yankees" have truly taken over. Might ask your SP, his Dad is the Temple pres; but the guy (the father) is originally from Idaho. Maybe that's a good sign.

As they stand in front of the mirror, their white shirt poofing ridiculously out all around the ill-fitted waist, tying their white-on-white tie, you can stroll by with your open collar and polyester lapels flaring proudly, unrestrained.

Just don't go overboard with any over-the-head arm movements, or you'll be quickly reminded of the one-piece nature of your attire.
Bump. I decided to show off not only my temple rags, but the awesome suitcase I take with me when I attend the temple.

Do you throw a tie on with that get up?
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Looks like you were raptured on your way.

Well, at least someone was raptured.

That is friggen awesome. I have been a vocal supporter of the jumpsuit of glory, but I am clearly not as devout as you.

That is cool and all, but in my experience, a middle-aged bald man has a lot harder time pulling it off. D-Hole wears this to the temple, and people think "I need to get myself a jumpsuit." I wear it to the temple, and people think "I didn't know George Costanza was a Mormon".

D-hole wears that to the temple and people's first thought is "I didn't know Rudy Fernandez was a Mormom", then they think they need to get themselves a jumpsuit. If it's good enough for an NBA player, it's good enough for them.

There is an article in the SLTrib talking about a coalition of Mormons meeting with the whitehouse. The quote below made me think of this thread and the irony of assigned volunteers (emphasis is mine).

They told White House staffers about the LDS volunteer ethic that requires every Mormon to participate in the church’s organization and expects members to give time, money and service to those in need.
