I have no idea what it means in the long run to be sealed to another person. And it doesn't make sense to me that men can be sealed to multiple women but not the other way around.

This reminds me of an assistant scoutmaster who served with me who got onto this subject. With some of the boys in the car he started talking about Kolob (I think) as a "breeder planet" and I changed the subject rather forcefully.

Not saying you're like that at all, clackamas, just that the subject you raise can take us to, well, uncharted territory.

Furthermore, what about the eternal fate of a person who married a woman in the temple, the woman dies and then he marries another woman in the temple?

So is the ratio of women to men so large to justify polygamy in the celestial kingdom? If so, we suck as a gender. Or maybe the Chinese have thrown enough female babies in the river to justify it.

Other worthless things to think about: Do the pearly gates swing outward or inward? Personally I think they slide side-to-side like most temple gates I have seen.
