Lucky them. How do I get into the barley business?

When my grandparents got off coffee they started drinking Postum. I would occasionally have a Postum with them when I was visiting and camping with them. The stuff isn't half bad.

That's an incentive. Kind of like a church subsidy.

Brigham Young used to own a bar in SLC to sell alcohol to non-members. I wonder if he paid tithing on that income.

            Mine preferred Pero to Postum.

Was this TIC? Did Larry Miller not pay tithing on the beer sales at the Delta center. What about the Marriots paying tithing on the porn watched in their hotels? What if my pension is invested in Sin stocks? Should I refuse to accept it or pay a tithe on it when I retire?

I don't have any problem with them selling it to a beer company and I don't have any problem with them refusing to sell it. The choice is theirs to make and either way they should consider themselves worthy to enter the temple because they worked hard to provide an honest living for their families...

It's only TIC if it doesn't get your panties into a twist.

                    Nope, it's all bad!

(many Hispanic LDS people I know have Postum " café de maíz" every day)

Is anyone drinking any "mild drinks" made from grains these days that are NOT beer? Apparently such is encouraged by the WoW, and I'd like to start doing it more. TIA.

I love bringing this up in WoW lessons.

I may have overreacted as my boxers are a bit bent out of shape, but I think that is less from Surfah's comment and more to the fact of having to look at Kobie Bryant's ugly mug ever time I read Surfah's posts.

                            Especially in kind tithing, post-fermentation.

Interestingly, I have never had Postum except at the MTC. Because it is awful, our district would drink it together to try to get used to some of the awful things we would surely eat on the other side of the world. I ate some nasty stuff in Hong Kong to be sure, but none of it was as uniquely disgusting as Postum.
