I have been known to post the same question on a different messageboard to compare results of the way people think. This is one that I would definitely re-poll.

Should you sell paper products to Penthouse?

What about boards and water delivery systems to the CIA?

      Marketing consultation for Paris Hilton?

My grandfather was a tobacco farmer for most of his life. He only transitioned away from it because there was more money in turkey farming, which he did for the last ten years of his career. If Steve Young and other Mormons can play professional sports on Sunday for a living then there's no reason why Mormon farmers can't grow crops that are used for things that are against the WoW. It's all honest work.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

Mormon barley farmers can do whatever they want. But if they sell to the adult beverage companies they shouldn't tithe on that money.

What else is barley used for? Honest question, I just don't know. Is beer the number one use for a barely crop in the U.S.?
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

My father, an Idaho farmer and mormon, sold barley to coors at one time. So did some of our neighbors. The WoW says nothing about making the stuff.

Maybe the LDS farmers should only sell their stuff to O'Douls.

There are some jobs I would not feel comfortable doing, but, as someone who works in credit card account acquisitions, I feel I live in enough of a glass house that I try not to judge other people's career choices too much.

When I was a kid we frequently had cracked barley for breakfast.

Especially since the WoW says that light barley drinks are fine, I have no problem with it.

Growing up on a ranch we often "rolled" barley to feed to cattle. To "roll" barley you smash it flat.
