No, but a U of U diploma will work in a pinch.Originally posted by Babs View PostThe church gives out handicapped placards??!"Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.

You only just learned this? I've been hearing this for years.Originally posted by Slim View PostThe reason men hold the priesthood is to help elevate them to the level of spirituality that women possess naturally without the priesthood."Sure, I fought. The fast Sunday before the 4th of July should be ripe with material for this thread, I hope I'm not the only one who steps up and shares.
One brother had proof that the Utah Attorney General's office is working to undermine the Constitution. He was settling a lawsuit against the state and wanted the AG to include a declaration that he promised to uphold the Constitution. The AG's office refused. Busted!!!
We also had a great humblebrag when a sister began her testimony by expressing gratitude that her great-great grandfather wrote the opening hymn, the Star Spangled Banner."In conclusion, let me give a shout-out to dirty sex. What a great thing it is" - Northwestcoug

so her great-great grandfather was Francis Scott Key? She must be pretty old to have that close a relationship with him.Originally posted by DU Ute View PostWe also had a great humblebrag when a sister began her testimony by expressing gratitude that her great-great grandfather wrote the opening hymn, the Star Spangled Banner.Dio perdona tante cose per un’opera di misericordia

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

I might have missed a "great" or two, but she is about 80.Originally posted by pellegrino View Postso her great-great grandfather was Francis Scott Key? that would likely be enough to do it with just the two greats. Key died in 1843 and he had children that lived into the 1880s. Seeing as how my great great grandfather was born in 1804, it's entirely possible that she's only four generations from Key.Originally posted by DU Ute View PostI might have missed a "great" or two, but she is about 80.Dio perdona tante cose per un’opera di misericordia

Yeah, my great-great-great grandfather is a semi famous Mormon (not GA) and I'm not very old.Originally posted by pellegrino View Postthat would likely be enough to do it with just the two greats. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
