Zero gay marriage references or references to the SCOTUS or judicial activism. Nothing interesting to report here, sorry.

My EQ is not happy about the SCOTUS ruling.

Yeah, but you were only there for an hour. Stick around and see what comes up.

Apparently my local Deseret Industries is looking to hire.

They sent a letter to our stake to that effect, and clarified that they are moving everyone to 28-hour work weeks.

I walked out of Sac Meeting.

Too much corrupt SCOTUS junk from the closing speaker.

I don't go to church for politics.

                  We went to brunch instead.

Wait you walked out of sacrament but not until the closing speaker?

                      Yup.

I don't blame the youth speaker for parroting his parents ignorance.

I do in fact blame the parent.

Youth speaker as the closing speaker? Now I know you're FOS.

I didn't go, hopped in the pool instead.

Wife's at church, said its been horrible.

Satan didn't control the water while I was in, FTR, so I didn't drown.

Nary a mention in my ward through two hours.

Our stake has this Trailblazers program that pairs a buddy with a handicapped Trailblazer and has weekly activities during the school year. Today 2 of the Trailblazers and 2 of the buddy's spoke. It was one of the better sacrament meeting experiences of my life, the focus of the EQ lesson was that kindness was one of the most powerful ways to use the priesthood.

I was a little surprised that we didn't get a single gay marriage mention in Sac Meeting, even with the topic being "Defending Religious Liberties".

Last speaker may have been a bit rasttled, though. He's English, and today the choir sang "The Star Spangled Banner", and as was walking off the stand, and he was walking over the the mic, I whispered in his ear "When we were singing about the foe's haughty host, I was thinking about you."
