I get to hear from Sister Beck this sunday and am looking forward to hearing what she has to say during our super duper multi-stake conference broadcast.

She came and spoke to the women of BYU Law and did a great job. I incidentally also ran into her at a local bakery I used to study at frequently. She's a nice and classy woman, even if "Mothers Who Know" was a dud.

Hooray! I thought it was a most excellent thread myself.

Yeah, I love that there are drunk emoticons and emotions doing chest bumps, but no hearts or hugs.

I didn't mean to kill the thread with my rant about women and the priesthood. I was enjoying the trajectory of the discussion and feel bad that it died out.

I just wanted to say that I thought it was a great, well thought out post. It gave me a lot to think about. There is much there I am sympathetic to.

"Ethiopian" definitely implies black-African in any ancient text (as opposed to the lighter-skinned Egyptians)

The recent article got me thinking about this incident. Aaron was murmuring about his brother's dark-skinned wife. It's been around for a long time.
