I don't care that they are having people do dramatic monologues, and I agree with wuap that the arts should be supported. We should be promoting creativity and art, music, and theatre.

But yeah, the writing is shit.

I wish RS groups didn't feel the need to make such a damn production out of everything. Have good food, paper tablecloths, and give everybody a chance to chat. End of story.

• Play it as "Deranged Sariah". With each invective against sand, raise the volume until at the end she is screaming almost incoherently, then, at the end of the paragraph, she flings handfuls of sand at the audience. This one has the advantage of using the RS President's suggestion.

This one is far and away the best. Definitely gets my vote. If you can convince her to do it, video tape it and put it up on YouTube.
