Good points Art. Translation would be an issue, but don't we believe in the gift of tongues?

I enjoy and look forward to GC. GN and AV have pretty much summed it up for me.

Staying home, not shaving, lno tie, lounging about, inspirational and faith-affirming messages are all great. But perhaps the best is how some go absolutely bonkers over something that is said during GC.
      Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

"They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Someone told me he doesn't sound like that at all except for in Churchwide talks.

I don't understand why some leaders feel the need to do that.

I alway loved LeGrand Richards. It seems they just stood him up at the pulpit and let him go. I still remember one conference when he went long and SWK tapped him on the leg to remind him his time was over. He said "Honest President I didn't see the light blinking". I guess they have some kind of light to remind the speakers there time is up.

I may be small, but I'm slow.

A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to, "The United States of America ", for an amount of "up to and including my life - it's an honor."
