I drive by the AF future in n out site every day hoping to see the "Coming Soon - In n Out" sign. But alas, it still has not been erected.

Might be the party line, but it applies to me.

I live within a few minutes of 2 I/Os and I don't eat at either one anymore. I miss the old days.

You bring up a good point. Once they are here, what shall I do? As it stands right now, I justify my double-doubles when I am in CA because I can only get them there ...

Our ward always goes to I/O after baptisms for the dead (Tommy's if we go up to the LA temple). This tradition is a rule, not a suggestion. We never waver.

This last month we went and everyone was ordering their food but I only asked for a water. Weak. There is seriously almost nothing there to eat if you are counting calories. It was an amazing amount of self-restraint on my part, but depressing at the same time. I went home and had a yogurt and some turkey patties. What a joke.

I'm pretty sure Tommy's after baptisms at the LA temple is in the handbook.

Why are we trying to persuade Lingo to like anything about California. I prefer my Lingos in Idaho, not California. I think we're better keeping with "California is of the devil!" when it comes to Lingo.

I have only had In N Out one time. I was visiting family in Reno. I loved it. I also miss fry sauce.

I agree. Please convince many other Utahans and Idahoans that In-N-Out is underwhelming. While you are at it, can you please start a campaign near Orem, Provo and Mountain View Highs and also at UVU and BYU?

The sad thing is, there are probably enough Californians at those two universities to keep the place in business without any Utah traffic.

There becomes a point where you can be doing it wrong. Eating a good balanced diet and watching calories is commendable, but if you can't eat a freaking hamburger once ina while, it isn't worth it. You want to eat an in-n-out burger, and haven't in months, and are that worried about the calories, go for a 30 minute run after you get home. That should even things out for you.

You're funny. I like how you've imagined up a world where I hate California for some reason.

                          Creepy, but funny.

You are 100% correct. For the past several months, I have been avoiding this kind of food out of concerns for my cholesterol. Now that my cholesterol is low again, I can ease off the main thrusters a bit and enjoy a nice guilty treat every now and then, as long as I keep doing the cardio.

I'm not the cycle guru like you! I need to watch the calories!

I ate at an In and Out for the first time ever Friday and for the second time Saturday on the way home. Very good hamburger but unlike Piney I'm not a big fan of the fries. Five Guys fries taste a lot better to me.

Mainly because you'll puke it all up if you go for a run right after dinner.
