Some jerk just left a 4 pound jug of Costco Jelly Belly's on my desk.

I recently went on a biz trip to SF. I ate 3 bags of these in my hotel over the course of 2 nights.

chocolate raisnettes. I can inhale the entire box before we finish the second movie trailer.

There was once a delicious candy called Zotz. It had a hard candy outer shell, with fizzy sugary powder inside that burst into your mouth upon cracking into the powder of glory.

During junior high, I peddled Zotz for profit, because they other kids couldn't get some. It was at the convenience store directly across from the swim pool. After practice I scurried over there, bought twenty bucks, ate plenty and sold the remainder for five times their original cost.

"Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

My personality is such I need to avoid substances I find addicting. Zotz are addicting much like chocolate raisinettes. To reveal they still exist is torture, because I will go to all ends of the earth to find them now.

Fortunately you'll just need to go to the end of the freeway exit to get to Cracker Barrel.

Well, if you ride your bike to Cracker Barrel, isn't that a wash?

The encyclopedic candy knowledge on this thread is impressive. I have never even heard of at least half the stuff discussed here.

Missed this the first time around. Unfortunately there are a number of things I have a hard time saying no to.

Regular candy bar: Almond Joy is tops, but I'll eat them all.

Licorice based: Allsorts are like crack to me, I can take or leave straight licorice.

Random: york peppermint patties, raisinettes, junior mints, andies. I have a hard time passing on a soft chocolate chip cookie, particularly if there is milk around. And once you open a can of pringles it is all over. I'm not sure the flavor matters.

One of my latest favorites: caramel bugles. If you've never had them, don't start.
