I LOVE to cook my eggs after cooking bacon. Leave the bacon grease to cook the eggs in. English Muffins with a slice of cheese on bottom so not to ruin my runny yolk.. Yummy..

Think I will head to the store now and grab a carton of eggs. I actually have a egg cooker here at work. I can make sunny side up, soft boiled eggs and even an omelette if I want..

For scrambled, I'll just dump a bunch of random shit in there - cheese, bbq sauce, worchestershire, ham, turkey, bacon, onions, sour cream, - whatever I have on hand.
I like eggs prepared just about any way, but I don't think I'd like these.

I was all set to go the toast route but called an audible at the last second. Went with 3 huevos, chorizo, potatoes, and chili peppers instead.

            This thread is making me

Although I did not know that flipping with a spatula is a no-no. Does everybody else flip the egg without utensils like JL or is there another way? I need to know b/c I always seem to break the yolk.

I'd like to add my testimony to the many given here as to the awesome nature of a fried egg with runny yolk and buttered toast to mop up the yolk with. Nothings better.

Eggs are just good all the way around.

I also loved fried eggs with a soft yolk on top of my pancakes. Cut into that thing and let the yolk mix with syrup to eat with the cakes...freaking awesome!

Boiled - just a little salt and pepper. Or deviled. Or diced up for an egg salad sandwich on toast to take breakfast on the go.

Poached - nearly as good as fried, as long as you keep the yolk soft.

Omelets are awesome with a little swiss cheese, ham, and onion. Or sausage and cheddar.

And quiche is OK too, P-diddy.

No need to add the "how to" for me...I love them about anyway they come. Man...just had breakfast and I'm wishing I'd read this first!

I assumed everybody does this. My daughter doesn't like the yolk, so I generally get my whole egg with the yolk, plus her yolk only on my pancake - yum!

Dude, go to Dallas and try the hamburger with egg on it. Trust me on this one.

Has anyone mentioned yet that Oh Mai has a fried egg sandwich on the menu now?

Okay, so I may have oversold the egg hatred a bit. I do quite like omlets - I think I said that - and eggs on breakfast sandwiches/burgers are awesome. Still can't do scrambled or boiled in any circumstances though.

i don't like the taste of oil with eggs unless the oil happened to be from freshly cooked bacon, so I will line my pan with some butter, definitely and it tastes great.
                          Mmm. Bacon.

                          Bacon makes everything better.

It looks like I need some enlightenment since I prefer a firmer scrambled egg with the whites and yolks thoroughly mixed and some salt and pepper. Through in whatever additives are in the kitchen (bacon, ham, peppers, cheese, etc.).

Don't forget pellegrinos frittata. I've modified it a bit, but it's a huge hit in our house and a great way to get veggies in.

Also, no love for my tip? I hate flipping eggs because while I like the white cooked, I don't like crust that forms on both sides.

                            Poached is probably my favorite.

Eggs are about nature's best invention. Cheap, healthy, and tasty.

One of my favorite things to eat is a batch of green chile on eggs. You can also make that even better by putting it in a fresh popover with a fried egg and topped with green chile.

Butter - I melt some in my pan and cook the egg in it. Obviously, bacon grease is best, but butter is the substitute when I don't have bacon. I also like to eat my fried egg on a slice of toast.
