My life has been so much better once I convinced my wife it was time to scrap the dry, flavorless birds for something of substance, like prime rib.

I mean think about it for a minute; this is the holiday to celebrate our bounty and we have to choke down meat that is barely above the level of spam on the awesomeness of meat scale. Undoubtedly someone will comment that it is simply because I don't know how to properly cook turkey and that by using some method where I do everything humanly possible to make the turkey taste anything like turkey I could know what they know. Its hogwash.
Two things. First, does anyone really think turkey is that good? We do it out of tradition. Second, don't ever fucking diss Spam again!
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

It's better than regular turkey, but lets not kid ourselves anymore, it isn't really very good.

Sorry.....meat should never come out of a can and it says a lot that turkey is higher on the scale than spam.

            • My wife can cook a very delicious turkey.

Unfortunately, she is having surgery the day before Thanksgiving and will be off her feet.

                • Turkey is succulent. Why not learn to cook instead?

When compared to other meats, turkey is most definitely not succulent. However, if you compare it to dog biscuits, then you may be on to something.

Stop eating dog biscuits. Man, your taste is bass-ackwards!

                          • How often do people here eat turkey outside of Thanksgiving? I'm still having a hard time seeing how its overrated, as it generally doesn't seem that highly rated.

turkey is rad and you are starting to piss me off although i like spam.
