A Costco Connection mag explained a few years ago that they got the dogs from Sinai Kosher which was a Sara Lee company. But that plant shut down so they went private label. They've been selling that combo for $1.50 since 1985. Last year they sold 109 million $1.50 combo meals. Also, starting April 1, all Costco's will be selling Pepsi products in the food court. Pepsi won the bid over Coke.

I know some people complained about the taste after the change but I like them just fine. Also interesting from that issue was the bulgogi bake. Did anyone have one of these in a test market? That sounds awesome. Their new sandwhich melt they sell on their torta is really good. I also love their dipped ice cream bar with almonds. Mmmmmm.

They have the bulgogi bake in Japan. I'm not that big of a fan.

The lunch deal is very popular here, very hard to find a seat at lunch time. The hot dogs are pork, however. I know, I've mentioned that.
