Riverhorse Cafe is great, Grappa is another good one. Pricey as is to be expected in Park City and IIRC both require reservations. We are headed there this weekend...I think (my wife is surprising me with a little get away for my b-day and this is best guess as we both love our time up there)."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

Trying to ressurrect a dead thread.
I will be in PC next week for a few days. Wife wants to hit up Freshies Lobster, we had delicious lunch there last time we were in town. Any other dining recommendations. For her birthday I would like a nice dinner, the rest of the meals we're fine with whatever.

If you don't mind spending some money, Powder Restaurant at the Waldorf Astoria has good food.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostTrying to ressurrect a dead thread.

Forgot to return and report about our PC dining.
Decided to have my wife’s birthday dinner at the Riverhorse. It was fantastic. I had a perfectly cooked steak, she had macadamia crusted halibut. I would go back just for the lobster bisque, it was amazing.
We also ate at Bartolos. Wonderful house made pastas. Also enjoyed a tasty elk burger for lunch after we went on a hike. If I would had brought a weapon with me on the hike we could have had moose instead.

I played Bartolo in Marriage of Figaro at BYU. Maybe I should go up and check it out.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostForgot to return and report about our PC dining.

It was fun. My first opera. David Warner directed it and set it in victorian England for costuming. For whatever reason he put me in a wheelchair but I stood up at the end when everyone got their respective gal.“Every player dreams of being a Yankee, and if they don’t it’s because they never got the chance.” Aroldis Chapman

thanks for this recommendation Art. We’ve been getting our daughter (and boyfriend…) set up for her sophomore year at the U, and we had a day to drive down memory lane. After looking for all the places we lived (one of four places demolished) and tracking down which Wymount terrace was ours (247 we think), we found ourselves hungry at Bridal Veil Falls. Since it’s near our anniversary our first thought was ‘Log Haven?’, but they were full. I then remembered this thread. No reservations but they had bar seating. I was tempted by the halibut but went for the trio of wild game. Mrs NWC had the bone in filet mignon. Both were excellent, but I’m kicking myself for forgetting the lobster bisque!Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostForgot to return and report about our PC dining.

Nice. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Especially since you have to cover up the distaste of sending a tuition check to SLCOriginally posted by Northwestcoug View Post
