I'm going to The Pit in downtown Raleigh (http://www.thepit-raleigh.com/), largely acclaimed as the best BBQ in the city. I'm not a huge eastern North Carolina BBQ fan, but I like it enough to eat it my last week here. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Apparently the best North Carolina BBQ is to be had at a place in Lexington called Eat Mo Pig. We went there as a kid when I was living in Winston-Salem. I personally have always preferred a nice vinegary North Caroline-style BBQ.Originally posted by Tim View PostI'm going to The Pit in downtown Raleigh (http://www.thepit-raleigh.com/), largely acclaimed as the best BBQ in the city. Ah, The Pit, I've been there a few times. NC BBQ is one of my favorite foods, make sure to eat it in a sandwich with 'slaw on it. How long will you be in Asia and when you return will you go back to the triangle area?Originally posted by Tim View PostI'm going to The Pit in downtown Raleigh (http://www.thepit-raleigh.com/), largely acclaimed as the best BBQ in the city. Edit: The best NC BBQ available for purchase is at a place called Wilbur's in Goldsboro. Otherwise, my dad and uncles make the best in the world.Dio perdona tante cose per un’opera di misericordia

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.
