I'm going to The Pit in downtown Raleigh (http://www.thepit-raleigh.com/), largely acclaimed as the best BBQ in the city. I'm not a huge eastern North Carolina BBQ fan, but I like it enough to eat it my last week here. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Apparently the best North Carolina BBQ is to be had at a place in Lexington called Eat Mo Pig. We went there as a kid when I was living in Winston-Salem. I personally have always preferred a nice vinegary North Caroline-style BBQ.

My favorite NC bbq place is in Blowing Rock - I think it's called the Smokehouse. Good stuff.

Ah, The Pit, I've been there a few times. NC BBQ is one of my favorite foods, make sure to eat it in a sandwich with 'slaw on it. How long will you be in Asia and when you return will you go back to the triangle area?

Edit: The best NC BBQ available for purchase is at a place called Wilbur's in Goldsboro. Otherwise, my dad and uncles make the best in the world.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.
