Your post was hilarious so I couldn't resist.

One of the reasons my wife wants to limit our offspring to 3 is because she's afraid she'd enter into full-blown mom mode and not give a crap about her appearance. Her mom had 5 kids and never slipped into the trap. I'm not sure what possessed that woman to have her picture taken in front of the desert bar at Golden Corral.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

LOL! I forgot about posting that thing. Was that on CG? That is an amazing video.

My wife is pretty passionate about the Gospel.

Didn't she rip up the check on the show, and then later accept a check off camera?
Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

Yes, and if I remember right she was on again a few months later.

Another example of the beauty and utility of the Internet and Youtube is that a few enterprising individuals have made music remixes of the lady's "Christian-AHHHH" scream. The decline of decent TV comedies this decade is directly due to the Internet containing funnier material.

During college we would hit a Chuck Wagon in Orem and just put away an unbelievable amount of food. They make money off the grandma's and grandpa's, they always lost a little with our table.

Growing up, we almost never went out to eat. Fast food occasionally - Dee's 25 cent hamburgers, McDonald's if going up to visit gramps and grams in Idaho. But on very spayshul occasions (baptisms), we'd head to the Sizzler. I think that's the only reason I still like the place - good memories. (Other good Sizzler memories - skipping 5th period seminary for Steak and All you can Eat Shrimp, at least once a week.)

I have eaten at Dee's once in my life. It is the one that is about 3 blocks from the Delta Center. I had a "morning quesadilla."

And like I said, I have eaten at Dee's only once in my life.

When I lived in California my grandma would always take us to Palbys which is a buffet.

Whenever she comes out to Utah to visit she has to go to Chuck A Rama, calling it the best buffet she has ever been to. She loves that place for some reason.

Six years ago when we moved here, I was put in the YM presidency, where I stayed for about 3 years. Every month, we had a Youth temple trip, after which we would go out to eat. Since we had about 30 youth, and 10 adults, our choices were generally limited to large buffets, so we switched off between Golden Corral and Cici's. I blame this association for any lingering reluctance I have to visit the temple. I really don't know which place was worse.

I've been to that Dee's and yes it's gross. This was different - there used to be Dee's Hamburger fast food joints. It's been nearly 30 years, but even then, I doubt five hamburgers for a buck was considered fine dining.

Hey, as far as buffets go, you could do alot worse that Chuck A Rama. That kettle roasted turkey ain't half bad.

I went to Chuck A Rama in Orem for Thanksgiving once. It was the longest line I have ever seen at a restaurant, ANY restaurant.
