haha, I asked the same question to her when we were talking. Apparently "shit load" is wide spread and common for Americans, "shit ton" is specific to the Mormon Corridor.Dio perdona tante cose per un’opera di misericordia

My friends are Mexican, and I cannot come up with a ready supply of 140 banana leaves in the middle of a North American Winter, hijuetalporcual. Besides, Mexican tamales taste better than Central American tamales.Originally posted by Donuthole View PostThe Banana Man wraps his tamales in . . . . corn husks? Really?

I love homemade tamales. A laborer that works at the jobsite is Mexican and has started bringing in (12) tamales for $10, every Thursday. He brings a shit-ton (a cooler on wheels) and sells out in about 5 minutes. His wife makes them into the night so they are still warm when he sells them during the morning break. Delish.I'm your huckleberry.

That's not a bad price. One thing I love about tamales is they're really good reheated (if done correctly), but nothing beats a still-warm tamal.Originally posted by FN Phat View PostI love homemade tamales.
