On a related not, I have discovered that hot honey is a great condiment for pizza. I make my own with siracha.

I'm really really skeptical of it so I haven't tried it. The last thing that a Chick Fil-A sandwich needs is more sweetness to it. That alone makes me skeptical because of the honey. I only really like the spicy chicken there, because the spice tones down the sweetness. Take the spice away and add honey to it, yeah not really interested.

My takes:

-Hot honey on pepperoni pizza is awesome. I first tried that at Via313 in Austin. I don’t generally prefer sweet pizza sauce or other sweetness in entrees (see below) but for some reason hot honey and pepperoni works.
- The pimento sandwich at Chick-fil-a is OK. I usually go with a Spicy Deluxe. I tried the Pimento and while it wasn’t bad, it doesn’t beat out a Spicy Deluxe in my opinion. The honey sweetness is too sweet for me on a chicken sandwich and I don’t really even taste the pimento. I doubt I will order one again and will instead stick with my Spicy Deluxe default.

BTW, it has pickled jalapenos instead of pickles. Not exactly the spiciest thing on earth, but probably equivalent to the spice level of a spicy chicken.

The Honey Pepper Pimento sandwich from Chick Fil -A is ridiculously good. so good that I kind of hope they take it away soon, as I crave that thing constantly. And at 570 cals and 28g fat, my heart and waistline really need it to go away.

I'm a big fan of the pimento cheese CFA sandwich. But I don't expect it will be around much longer. Some stores in Vegas have already gotten rid of it (it was designed to be seasonal).

I agree with everyone that says it looks gross. It does. But it tastes great. Pretty messy though.
