Ok, maybe not exactly homemade, but close enough in my mind. I just made a culinary discovery that everyone should try.

    1. Take an Oreo, and twist it to separate the two halves.
    2. On the cookie without the cream, spread some Jif Mocha flavored Hazelnut Spread.
    3. Enjoy.

    You're welcome.

Never been a fan of mocha-flavored anything. I don't like coffee flavored ice cream or candy either. It has nothing to do with the WoW - it just tastes nasty.

I've never heard of this either but I will buy it. It sounds amazing.

Wait, wait, wait. Do you put the oreo back together again? Or do you just eat the half without the cream that now has the Nutella?

                You have my pity, sir!

I took the cookie without the cream on it, and put the spread on the outside, because I figured the ridges would hold the spread better. So just the half. The other side, I ended up putting the spread over the cream. That was good too, but not quite as good. So if you do it right, you can eliminate all the cream, and frost the two chocolate halves separately, and have two of these delicious treats! The spread would be too soft to make a sandwich, considering how hard the Oreo cookies are.

Good stuff, BD. I too liked the oreo and spread alone - without the cream - better than the one with the cream and the spread.

This isn't homemade either but it involves Oreos and it makes it easy to eat them with milk.

                          1. Get yourself a package of double stuffed Oreos and pour yourself a glass of milk.

                          2. Hold the Oreo firmly between your thumb and index finger. Be careful not to crush it.

                          3. Take a regular sized fork and gently slide it into the icing roughly a half an inch.

                          4. Using the fork as a handle, dunk the entire cookie into the glass of milk.

                          5. Place the entire milk soaked Oreo in your mouth and enjoy.

Whoa! Revolutionary! I don't think I'm ready for something as radical is this recipe.

And you don't even cook it before eating it? Unbelievable!

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

No cooking necessary. Oreos come cooked already. Thank goodness for that. And the milk you buy in the store is already pasteurized.
