I stopped in at In-N-Out with my kids for lunch. It had been a while since I had their food. You are right. Their fries have absolutely no favor. Even my kids wouldn't eat them. And I think their hamburgers are marginally better than Mickey-D's. As I was choking down my double-double I was watching all the people coming In-N-Out like a bunch of brainwashed cattle. I rather pay a buck more and get something that is enjoyable to eat at a Mooyah's or a Scotty P's. I don't expect anyone that loves In-N-Out and lives outside of Texas to know what I am talking about.

I was in California this last weekend so I decided to give In-N-Out a try for the first time. I had two 4x4s animal style (also had a neapolitan shake) and I thought they were good burgers; not a religious experience, but pretty tasty.

I am not an In n Out worshipper, but I do think they offer up a tasty, inexpensive burger. Now, to hear someone claim that an in n out burger is only marginally better than McD's gives me a huge red flag on that someones recommendations for a place to get a good burger.

            Bulking again?

The next time you're in SoCal, go to The Habit Burger Grill; a local chain started in Santa Barbara. Trust me on this one.

Not now. Last weekend, well it did add bulk (I returned 7 pounds heavier on the scale).
