I went to that place Mizuna. http://www.mizuna.com/
App I got the artisan cheese plate (some from WA, a couple from CA), with honey, seasoned almonds, figs and their house made fennel crackers. Entree I got the trout with vegetable pistou, herbed quinoa and truffle oil. Dessert was key lime tart with cashew crust and chantilly cream.
It was good and I'd go back. My least favorite was probably the entree -- it had a little too much going on and I think the pistou was a little underdone and the quinoa a little overdone. That said, it was still good, just could have been better with better execution. The other two dishes were really good.
Also, it was a ton of food and way more than I bargained for. You order a $12 cheese plate in Seattle it's like 1 oz each of three different kinds of cheese. They brought this cheese plate out and it looked like 2-3 people could have shared it. The entree was also much larger portioned than I expected. Guess I've been eating in Seattle too long.So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Huckleberry ribs, taro chips, roasted fingerling potatoes, and balsamic tomatoes. Not so awesome.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostTonight's dinner is coming from this place: http://www.maxatmirabeau.com/Menu/DinnerMenu.pdf

Yeah, it's not that great. The service at the restaurant itself is super inconsistent and the restaurant's definition of "medium-rare" varies wildly from night to night.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostTonight's dinner is coming from this place: http://www.maxatmirabeau.com/Menu/DinnerMenu.pdf

That place was about 5 minutes from my office. I ate there once. That was enough.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostHuckleberry ribs, taro chips, roasted fingerling potatoes, and balsamic tomatoes. On the bright side, it would have tasted 100x worse if you'd been paying for it yourself.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostUnfortunately that was the only option tonight. There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock
