  • Jimmy John's

That place just made me wish I was eating Subway. They should be commended, that's a very difficult feat to pull off.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

That place is somewhat popular here in SLC. We had some brought in for a lunch activity in the office.

I grabbed a 6-inch pastrami, I believe. After about 3 bites I tossed it out. tasted like a cross between blimpie and one of those sandwiches you buy at Crest gas station.

no wonder they deliver it so quickly. they probably want it out of their car ASAP.

most of the chain sandwich places are horrible. How hard is it to make a sandwich???
    Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

      Yummy!!

When Jimmy John's rolled into Provo, I was put off by their in-store advertising. It's one of those "we're so cool" places, but I found it unbecoming in a place that was new to the area. "World Famous" and all that.

I like the "Pepe" sandwich. I do not care for anything else on the menu.

I've never gotten too excited about the prospect of eating a sandwich so being disappointed would be really hard. If I have to eat a sandwich, Jimmie John's is fine.

I like Jimmy Johns. I don't seek it out, but their 'The Beach' sandwich with sprouts, avocado and turkey is pretty good.

When I eat JJ's I hide out because it's so embarrassing if someone sees me. I hide the sandwich in my coat. I actually got super annoyed when a secretary tried to interrogate me about what I had under my arm once. I eat maybe 2 a year. I've actually started to go in there, and taking one look at the clientele fortifies me to leave and go get sushi nearby.

It's WAY better tasting than Subway, though. Tell them to leave off the lettuce and add the peppers.

Seriously? You just don't like sandwiches much? There are plenty of sandwiches that I get excited to eat. The porcetta at Salumi's, the cheesesteak or pastrami sandwich at Tat's, the cuban roast at Paseo, the drunken chicken at the Baguette Box, the BBQ pork banh mi at Seattle Deli, the georgia gold at Roy's (RIP), the oyster po' boy at Where Ya At Matt, the tortas at El Quetzal, the crab cake sandwich at Skillet. Man, I fell like I could go on and on.

This is the second time I've been there, and in fairness it was much better the first time. Not sure what happened this time. Oh wait, yeah I do, I was at the Jimmy John's in Bellevue. That's why I never cross the floating bridges!

I could muster up some excitement for those types of sandwiches, but nothing for the Subway, Jimmy John's, Blimpie, Sensuous Sandwich, and Quizno's type of place. Deli meat just doesn't excite me much.

During law school, the journal I was on ordered from there twice a week. I dry heave when I walk in their store now.

It may be gross, but damn, it's fast.

                          Overpriced. Under-tastes. Disappoints.

I'm not impressed with that place. Have gone twice, the first time I thought I might have just ordered a bad sandwhich....second time, equally disappointed.

Will not be going back any time soon.

I think their sandwiches are okay. They're nothing special, and I'm not ever the person to suggest going there, but there's one practically across the street from the office. When others want to go there, I usually go with, get a sandwich, and leave less hungry than before.
                            Not that, sickos.
