This is poll of previous thread. Probably only two posters here who ate bulldog scones. Many ate cougar tail donuts.

I have never had a Rockland bulldog scone, but it sounds interesting.

Grape you've got to provide some more context! I don't even know what the heck a Rockland bulldog scone is! Is it just a fried scone served at the football games? Is it shaped like a bulldog? Honey butter? Powdered sugar? Please post a picture and description. Maybe a recipe, if possible. With that information I think I can make an informed vote.

I will almost always take a scone over a stale donut. On the flip side, I will almost always take a freshly cooked donut over a scone.

Does have honey butter and powder on it. I got one in Goats neck of the woods after they beat us in football. One thing that concession has you can’t resist. I would think cougar tail donuts would be good too.

Fried dough is awesome, so I'm going with both!

And it is a Utah scone (fry bread), or a Pacific Northwest scone (dry ass shitty biscuit)? Because that is going to affect my vote.

Cougar Tail donuts are gross. Just like a Safeway maple bar made 3 times as long. Don't get the love. I would definitely take a Rockland Bulldog Scone over a Cougar Tail and I've never had one. It can't possibly be worse.

Dudes, CougarTails are stadium food. I agree they’re not gourmet donuts but what do you expect for stadium food? They work well as a unique and notable treat.

Also, Blueberry and chocolate are better than the original maple and anyone who disagrees with me is worse than a degenerate Utah Utes fan.

I like CougarTail donuts. But admittedly, a maple bar was my favorite donut all throughout childhood (displaced in adulthood by the Tasty's double-blueberry) and a day-old donut is better than most sweet treats, if i'm being honest. So there's plenty to love about an 18" maple bar, IMO. Sure, it would be better fresh, but logistically that's just not feasible on the scale they are doing. I'm sure they could fry and glaze the donuts fresh, right there in a booth at the stadium. But the line would be a mile long and 250 people total would get a donut.

Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

Haven't tried Blueberry, but chocolate always trumps maple in any culinary setting.
