I thought it was nasty the first time I heard of it. It was a favorite of my granddad. The key is not to overload the cheese - think slices of good quality sharp cheddar do the trick. If you have too much cheese it's a little bit too chunky. Don't ever try this with kraft singles.

Thanks for the tips. Fortunately we don't have Kraft singles in my house, so that part won't be a problem.
