And for the record, I'd just like to point out that I was mocked way back when I raved about the food I had at Spark, by then-chefs Viet Pham and Bowman Brown. Currently running Forage.

Coming to Utah in late August and just heard about this place due to the best new chef title. Pretty impressive resumes by these guys and I'm happy to see all the positive reviews here (hadn't read the thread before).

I'm curious how Mrs. Funk was able to talk to the chefs, do they come out and talk to people? Is it still only $45/person?

They don't typically come out and talk to people, but they were out when we were leaving so we said hi to them. Not sure on the price, but with how busy they have been, I wouldn't be surprised if it is higher.

I think it is $55 now.

The chefs will come out if it isn't busy and it normally isnt. If you're shy, just hang out at the window where the chef's prep and sooner or later they will come out.
