McDonald's in Costa Rica has the nicest, most polite employees you've ever seen. It's actually fun to go through the Auto Mac because the service is so stellar."Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.
The rest of us rarely bother to think about our actions." --Solon

You must have never been to a McDonald's in Davenport, Iowa. The MacDo employees there are even more nice and polite than those in Costa Rica.Originally posted by wuapinmon View PostMcDonald's in Costa Rica has the nicest, most polite employees you've ever seen. Iowa? Well, Omaha's a fine town. Anyway, every time we stop, I want you to change your socks. The Mississippi will eat a grunt's feet right off if you let it.Originally posted by YOhio View PostYou must have never been to a McDonald's in Davenport, Iowa. OK, here's an update on the Big America Texas Burger: I was busy at lunchtime so I didn't get to McDonald's until 5 PM or so. The burger was sold out. So I went to another McDonald's not far from there. Sold out there, too. So I went to Kua'aina and got a turkey bacon avocado swiss sandwich on toasted wheat. I'll make another pass at the Big America Texas Burger this weekend.Visca Catalunya Lliure

Weird. We've only been to McDo twice since we arrived. It's funny what happens when your kids get older.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I don't go to McDonald's that often, either. I saw the ad for this burger on the metro yesterday and it produced in me an insatiable appetite for the disgusting.Originally posted by myboynoah View PostWeird. I have fond memories of McDonald in Japan. While on my mission, we would always stop by the local McD's at the end of the day and they would give us the left over soft ice cream.
I may be small, but I'm slow.
A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to, "The United States of America ", for an amount of "up to and including my life - it's an honor."

We were brutal at McD on the mish. We'd go there and intentionally order in English, making sure to ask for things we knew they couldn't do (shake with value meal instead of soda, for example), all the while speaking really fast. Then, as soon as the girl taking our order would head in the back or turn around and talk or whatever, we'd talk to the cashier next to her in (we thought at the time) fluent Japanese. It was pretty mean.Originally posted by happyone View PostI have fond memories of McDonald in Japan.
