I think Famous Dave's is horrible.

Their brisket and pulled pork are edible. I've NEVER had good ribs there. Never. Not once.

The brisket is all I have ever tried. I have eaten their 3 times all for lunch, so I'm not really the best judge of its quality, or lack thereof.

I like the french fry seasoning at Red Robin.

I love the Banzai Burger with a chocolate shake when I'm forced to make small take with relative strangers have a post-game meals with other families at soccer or basketball tournaments

I agree, it is the only Mex place I will eat that isn't family owned. U would rank Baja Fresh as the best fast food available.

I like Biaggi's. They have locations around the country.

As for OG, yeah, it's a LOT better than it was 10 years ago, but that's still not a ringing endorsement, either.

The Claimjumper is okay, too. You can usually find something good to eat there.

I haven't eaten at many of the locations, but I have to put in McCormick and Schmicks. The restaurants they own in Portland are great. I don't know how the ones outside of the Portland metro area stack up.

If the Claimjumper in Reno is part of the chain of Claimjumpers then I agree with you. I like their steaks.

Yesterday we were at the mall in Orlando and had originally put our name on a ridiculously long wait list for the Cheesecake Factory before noticing they had a McCormick & Schmicks right next door. I like CF okay, especially their cheesecake, but I don't think many restaurants are worth waiting in line with some vibrating pager. So we ended up with some pretty good lobster crepes at M&S.

I have heard good things about it and the original is in Portland, but I have never been. Instead, I would go to the Original Hotcake and Steak House, which is one of the best places in Portland.

Mexican: not aware of any national chains and I do not consider fast food to be "mexican" food

On The Border is solid. Not sure how we are defining "national" but they are pretty widespread. In fact, every state that borders Utah has one ... but not Utah. I would kill for an OTB here.
