Anybody like Salvadoran food? We just found a great place tonight called Cafe Guanaco. They had some excellent pupusas.
Yes. The original Tasty's is still there on the border of Kaysville and Layton. Actually, it moved. As of 20 years ago, it was actually across the street. At some point, they moved across the street to a larger location.

The Sugarhouse location and all others were satellite locations.

Kaysville is the epicenter of the gastronomic genius that is Tasty's.

I've only been to handful of places in NYC, but none of them had near the ridiculous amounts of cheese as the Pie.

It's not that people expect pizza to be healthy, it's that the amount of cheese on that pizza is just flat out disgusting.

I'll give you a few addresses.

Seriously, though, I didn't notice the amount of cheese when I went to the Pie (it was only once, though). And one would think I would have, given that I'm pretty lactose intolerant.

Haven't been for a while, but we used to frequent the place. I don't know why we got out of the habit. It reminds me that we need to go.

It's a nice little local place to get some grub. I like there stuff.
Last spring my wife and I went to an "Art and Soup" show downtown and the seafood chowder that I had from the people representing the Sego Lily Grill was just plain awesome. I waited until summer to try the restaurant in Bountiful and they didn't have the chowder on their summer menu, but I'm hoping it's there for the winter because it's one of the best I've tasted.

I don't think they are in Sugarhouse anymore. They've moved to the Gateway, and I don't think the food is as good as it was when they were on 9th East.

Actually there were two locations for a bit: the one in Sugarhouse and the one at the Gateway. The Sugarhouse one is still going strong. I think the Gateway location closed.
Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...

None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.

I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

I thought the Sugarhouse location was now a place called Trio.

                    - Never mind. I'm thinking of a different spot.

The original location on 9th East is now Trio. The Dodo is right on 21st South where L'Avenue Bistro used to be. Across the street from Sugarhouse Park.

Glad to know I wasn't making things up. I ate at the Dodo once when it was on 9th East and then once later on when it was at the Gateway. The second time it seemed like it wasn't nearly as good as the first.

Especially...and I recommend everyone try this at least once...the banana cream cheese cake.

                          Unbelievable.

I'm not a big fan of banana cream pies, but this thing...this thing is magnificent.
YES! There ya go buddy. I KNEW we'd agree on SOMETHING!

Yeah. The one I most recently ate at this past summer was the one on 21st South...

I guess I didn't realize that we disagreed on everything else.

I swear, I nominate myself for the most oblivious poster on CUF. Are the CUFfies still open for nomination?

I'll back this up. I love having "The Dodo" just down the street. I hope it lasts as the previous 2 restaurants at that location couldn't make it. From the looks of things, the place is usually crowded
