  • Best Steak you've ever had

    So what is the best steak you've ever had? I had a bone-in ribeye at Tinnie's Silver Dollar, a well known steakhouse in southern New Mexico, between Roswell and Ruidoso that was the best I've ever had. That includes Ruth's Chris, Carver's, and some other well known steakhouses in the U.S. The second best steak I had was a Steak Florentine at a trattorio named Buco Mario's in Florence, Italy.

          3D, you should know that red chile goes better with steak. But thanks for spelling chile correctly. (And I will do my best to continue to amuse you)

                There was a little hole in the wall place just north of Ft. Sill, OK on the way to the wildlife refuge. They raised there own cattle. Its been 25 yrs so I don't remember the name of it.

                I may be small, but I'm slow.

                A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to, "The United States of America ", for an amount of "up to and including my life - it's an honor."

                  Filet Mignon at a small restaurant on The Plaza in Kansas City where my sister had her wedding dinner. 2 inches thick and I could cut it with my fork.

                    I'm not a high roller and haven't had a ton of experience to draw from, but I've eaten at Ruth's Chris a few times and a handful of other $40 plate places on business trips.

                    It's not the fanciest or most expensive place, but my favorite steak is the rib eye at Saltgrass in the Dallas area.

                      I like Saltgrass and find that they do a very good steak for the moolah.

                      Best steak I've ever had was of my own creation from my own cattle, cooked by me.

                        Back when Maddox in Perry raised there own cattle, there ribeyes weren't bad. Now there just another steakhouse IMO.

                            the filet at Prime Steakhouse at the Bellagio. Every bite was awesome.

                            Close second was the filet at SW Steakhouse at Wynn.
