Pizzeria 712 was fantastic and I like Settebello too. For more New York style I enjoy Este and Big Apple. And then I like the crust at Rusted Sun, the stuffed pie at Sweet Home Chicago and (since working there when I was in High School and it was a Round Table) the Pike's Peak at Rocky Mt. Pizza.

Oh, and to contribute to this thread, as far as pizza buffets go, Pizza Pie Cafe isn't bad. But it's certainly not great pizza. Better than Doc's Pizza Buffet across the street though.

7) Terra Mia (was a lot better when it opened up but has gone downhill)

Those are the ones that I can think of that I like better than Nicolatia, so I guess they do crack the top 10. I really miss Nevole's

Really I had no idea. The only thing that could have made The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnissus any more bizarre would have been pizza instead of popcorn.

Good list. I confess that even though I've grown up eating at Hire's, I've never been across the parking lot to Litza's. Another good one is Stoneground Pizza. They do this thing called Original Sin on Sundays where the cooks just whip up all kinds of pizza creations and then they bring them around to your table, Rodizio-style. It's excellent.
