I can't speak to the quality of the pizza, but their breadsticks and cheesesticks seemed to be their signature menu item, based on the rage in Rexburg. They were real. And they were fantastic.Originally posted by Coach McGuirk View PostJust saw this where Tony Romo's used to be in Provo. Sign says like CraigO's, which I haven't tried ethier. Their pizza was pretty decent. I could never figure out why they couldn't keep the place open though. That has got to be one of the worst run businesses ever. They had the best location in all of Rexburg to have a pizza place and still couldn't keep it open. You never knew when it was open or closed. Just had to trust that you were going on the right day at the right time."To the man who only has a hammer, everything he encounters begins to look like a nail."

Craigo's is good. The dough has a sweet flavor to it and they've got some good toppings combinations. I enjoyed a pizza called the Hillbilly. Wish I could remember exactly what was on it, but there was bacon and chicken involved. Mmmm...
A couple of years ago they went all-you-can-eat buffet with pasta, as well. Not sure if that was a good decision for them, as the quality of the pizza seemed to go down.

It all depends on which owners were running the joint at the time. It wasn't uncommon to see that place being bought out and new ownership every other year. Some owners took good care, had some great quality pizza, others tried to live off the name and reputation. It was owned by some russians for a while. They would give us some free pizza if we'd talk Russian with them. I liked those owners."To the man who only has a hammer, everything he encounters begins to look like a nail."

Craigos was a joke of an institution. I lived next to it and they changed management biweekly. Cheesy Breadsticks were good, but who am I to give a culinary opinion?-- I ate there as a starving college student.
Anyway, they went through this mini-renaissance where they introduced the $3.00 Pizza Bomb, which was a calzone about the size of your head. It was so good. You could also get a monster bowl of scooped ice cream for about $1.25. I knew they couldn't keep up profitability, and they went under as expected.
Now, some business bought the name and it has two sell-out locations-- one in Rexburg away from campus and one in Idaho Falls. I have no desire to eat at the new incarnation and I have no idea why someone would 1) open a pizza place next to Nicolleto's (the best pizza in Utah County if not Utah) and 2) compare it to Craigo's in order to lure in business."I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! Nicolatia is good, but it is not nearly that good. I prefer Terra Mia and Pizzeria 712 in Utah County. I'm not sure I would even put it in the top 10 in Utah.Originally posted by Commando View PostNow, some business bought the name and it has two sell-out locations-- one in Rexburg away from campus and one in Idaho Falls. mp I would definitely be interested in hearing your top 10. Just off the top of your head.Originally posted by mpfunk View PostNicolatia is good, but it is not nearly that good. I prefer Terra Mia and Pizzeria 712 in Utah County. I'm not sure I would even put it in the top 10 in Utah.
Pizzeria 712 was fantastic and I like Settebello too. For more New York style I enjoy Este and Big Apple. And then I like the crust at Rusted Sun, the stuffed pie at Sweet Home Chicago and (since working there when I was in High School and it was a Round Table) the Pike's Peak at Rocky Mt. Pizza.
Oh, and to contribute to this thread, as far as pizza buffets go, Pizza Pie Cafe isn't bad. But it's certainly not great pizza. Better than Doc's Pizza Buffet across the street though.Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...
None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.
I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

My Utah favorites:
Nicolitalia
Este
Sicilia - better for calzone than for pizza
Big Apple
Too bad Nevole's is gone. Little Italy too. That place was good.
Pizzas I didn't really care for:
