I guess. Li hing mui powder is to Hawaiian snacks as tamarind powder is to Mexican snacks. I like li hing mui powder on most fresh fruit. I also like it occasionally on popcorn. I'll eat rock salt plum and white li hing mui until my tongue dries up and wants to fall off. Li hing mui powder on sour patch kids or peachy-o rings are the best candy in the world.

Pickled mango is the bomb diggity.

I am trying to think what else. If I eat it though I probably don't think it is weird.

I've posted this before, but I love mint chocolate chip ice cream and caramel sauce, or mcc ice cream in a Sprite float.

Also, peanut butter and tomato sandwiches. Open faced, with salt and pepper on top. Most people think this sounds horrible, but I've been eating them since I was a little kid and love it.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Pickled mango and li hing sour patch kids...ate them both last week in Hawai'i. My wife thinks li hing power tastes like dirt. I don't get it. The stuff is fantastic and I can put it on just about any fruit or candy.

When you work for a fast food place for 3 years and you get a free meal for every 4 hours of work, some creativity is required no matter how awesome the food is.
As such my favorite odd combination was:
Chick-fil-a Waffle Fries dipped in Hershey's chocolate syrup topped Chick-fil-a soft serve ice cream. Very yummy.

i love rice chex, btw. I generally overload it with sugar and then drink the yummy chexy milk afterwards. then I suffer all day from lactose intolerance.....
That's what makes mine so bizarre: I take it plain. No sugar, no honey; plain. Mmm!

                        oh.

admittedly, I was not prepared for that particular response.

i guess you can knock it then.

I just hate the milk left after cereal, especially when it's all sugary and sweet. I basically skim the cereal of the top of the milk, and then throw away a full bowl of milk at the end. I know, sounds crazy, but eating just plain is too dry. I have to have a little moisture.

I love heinz ketchup on my buttered french toast. About the same amount of sugar as maple syrup.

Our dental hygienist eats nacho cheese chips with a soft serve vanilla ice cream cone.

Me too. I hate the leftover milk. Especially if it is sweetened and colored by the cereal. When there is sooo much sugar that it forms a skin on top of the milk, I start dry heaving.

For over 35 years, a source of contention in our marriage has been my wife's family's longstanding practice of shunning syrup in favor of hot tomato juice on french toast. Our six children divide evenly on the issue of syrup vs. tomato juice. I still think the idea of pouring freakin' tomato juice on french toast is obscene, but the battle rages on.

And as kids, we put sugar in rich abundance on the supposedly non-sugared cold cereals (e.g., Cheerios, the Chexes, Wheaties, etc.). We regarded the sugary milky goo that remained at the bottom of the bowl as the nectar of the gods.
