Plays in rounds... a game can be 1 round or 2 or an indefinite amount as you work through the cards in the deck. We started from the beginning a couple of days ago. When we need a break, we just leave the game set up on the dinner table and pick it up the next time. Simple game mechanics, but still has enough variety to keep the kids interest. There's a new dedicated board game store in Mesa that blew my mind when I went in a few weeks ago; they have a crazy selection of RPGs and standard board games that are so well done and well packaged, they make a reasonable, well adjusted person want to play D&D.
